Frequently Asked Questions

Common reasons: Excel has a 1,048,576 row limit; database import tools have file size limits; email attachments have size limits; large files are slow to open or process. Splitting creates manageable chunks.
For Excel: use 900,000 or fewer rows per chunk. For email attachments: aim for chunks under 10 MB each. For database imports: check your database tool documentation. A 1,000 row default works well for most uses.
