No. The CSV Viewer processes your file entirely in your browser using the JavaScript FileReader API. Your data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server. This makes it completely private and safe for sensitive or confidential data.

Files up to 500 MB can be loaded in modern browsers. Very large files are paginated at 500 rows per page for performance. Older browsers or devices with limited RAM may struggle with files above 50 MB.

Yes. The search box filters all visible rows in real time as you type. It searches across all column values simultaneously. The row counter updates to show how many rows match your search.

Yes. Click any column header to sort by that column in ascending order. Click again to sort descending. An arrow indicator shows the current sort direction.

Yes. The Export Filtered button downloads a CSV containing only the rows currently visible after your search filter. This lets you quickly extract a subset of your data without uploading anything.

The viewer auto-detects comma, semicolon, tab, and pipe delimiters. You can also override the auto-detection using the delimiter selector in the toolbar after loading your file.
